Wholesale Shade Structures

We fabricate the full range of shade structure configurations used across Australian commercial installations. Every structure is engineered to the site conditions and wind region, so what you receive is ready to install rather than ready to argue with a certifier about.

• Cantilever structures. Single-column line, ideal for tight sites and where posts can't drop into vehicle bays or paths of travel.
• Hip and ridge structures. Traditional pitched profile, wide span capability, common across schools, public spaces and covered outdoor learning areas.
• Gable and flat-top structures. Maximum coverage with minimal visual height, well suited to retail and hospitality where sightlines matter.
• Tension membrane structures. Engineered frames with tensioned architectural PVC covers for permanent, long-life installations.
• Waterproof shade structures. Structures built for full-weather cover where a dry space underneath is part of the brief.
• Custom shade structure designs. Architect-led designs, one-off geometries and non-standard spans. If you have drawings, send them through.

We can supply as full turnkey packages (frame + membrane + hardware + certification) or as kit-form for installers with their own erection crews. Tell us the scope at the quote stage.

Our engineering team designs every structure for the wind region it will sit in, in line with AS/NZS 1170.2. That includes cyclonic wind loading (Wind Region C) for sites north of Bundaberg, where the engineering response is materially different to a metro Brisbane installation.

Standard capability across our fabrication:

• Structural steel design, drafting and manufacture, using grades matched to the span and loading conditions of the site
• Welding to Australian Standards
• Footings and hold-down design coordinated with the frame
• Hot-dip galvanised finishes for maximum corrosion protection, appropriate for coastal or high-humidity sites
• Powder-coated finishes in a wide standard colour range, or custom colours for corporate or architectural specifications
• Architectural fabrics (HDPE shade fabric or PVC vinyl) supplied with the frame or nominated by the client
• Stainless steel hardware for permanent installations where corrosion is a factor
• Third-party engineering certification (Form 15) is provided with every structural installation

For trade partners quoting jobs that need engineering documentation before council approval, we can supply the certification package alongside the fabrication drawings. That means your certifier and the local council have what they need to sign the job off.

Trade partners buy shade structures for two reasons: to deliver a job to a client who's already committed to a specific design, or to quote a job with a manufacturing partner backing the numbers. We work either way.

• If the design is already fixed (architectural drawings, council-approved plans, or client-specified geometry), we manufacture to those drawings and provide the certification package.
• If the design still needs work, our engineering team can produce structural drawings from a brief. We'll take the outcome you need, the site constraints, and the client's budget, and come back with a solution.
• If you supply your own erection crew, we can deliver kit-form with detailed installation instructions and engineering documentation.
• If you need us to install as well, we have installation crews across Queensland and can quote installation nationally on the right brief.
