Wholesale Shade Sail Manufacturing

We manufacture shade sails to any shape and size you need, from standard triangles and squares through to hypar (twisted) sails, hexagons, and complex custom geometries. If you have engineered drawings, send them through. If you need design assistance in developing a sail plan for a specific site, our design team can help.

Standard options we deliver every week include:

• Triangle sails in single or multi-sail arrangements
• Square and rectangular sails with optional cable or webbing edges
• Hypar (twisted) sails for architectural applications
• Multi-point sails for larger commercial spans
• Custom shade sail designs for one-off installations

We can supply fabric only for installers with their own hardware, or supply as a complete package with stainless steel fittings, wire rope, turnbuckles and shackles matched to the sail size.

The fabric grade sets the sail. We work with the leading architectural-grade shade fabrics used across Australian commercial installations, giving you the choice of specification for the job at hand. Options we manufacture with include:

• Architectural HDPE shade fabric in a wide range of colours, with UV block ratings up to 99% and fabric warranties of 10 to 15 years depending on grade.
• Waterproof PVC fabric for installations where full-weather cover is part of the brief.
• Fire-rated fabric options for installations that need to meet BCA compliance for public and commercial premises.
• Standard colour range across greens, blues, sand, grey, terracotta and black tones, with custom colours available for corporate branding on volume orders.

Because we manufacture in-house, turnaround times are under what an imported product can realistically offer. Standard order lead times depend on the size, complexity and fabric availability, and we'll confirm the timeline at the quote stage. For trade partners running multiple jobs at once, we're happy to work to a scheduled pipeline, so your team has certainty on when each order will land.

We opened Advanced Shade Systems in 1996 and have been manufacturing in Queensland ever since. Every sail we deliver is cut, sewn and finished in-house by our own team. That in-house control is why we can hold consistent quality across repeat orders, and why our trade partners can quote confidently on jobs that depend on a reliable supply chain.

Our engineering team works to AS/NZS 1170.2 for wind loading, and every structural sail is supported by third-party engineering certification (Form 15) where the installation calls for it.
