Several challenges arose in the design and install process of this project. These included;
The final solution for Captain Burke Park was a shade install comprised of seven linked HYPAR shade sails. These sails were designed and delivered to provide as much shade coverage to the playground equipment as possible. Finished in cool colours, both the powder coated posts and Monotec shade fabric complement the existing playground whilst not standing out a detracting from the surrounding city and river views. 12 months after the initial install, council requested an addition sail be installed which was delivered by the team at Advanced Shade Systems adhering to same aesthetic as before.
